Our Story
Trillium Trail was founded in 2023 by a Pittsburgh native with an obsession for vintage clothing and collectibles. We launched as a vintage apparel business to embrace the rich history of the sport and curate styles from the 1970's to early 2000's that made golfers unique and stylish. We have since developed our own vintage-inspired collection to bring these styles back and reimagine them for the modern golfer. Our goal is to build a community that shares the same appreciation for the quality and craftsmanship that makes vintage clothing so desirable and to provide that community with a differentiated product offering from the brands found in pro shops today. Our mission is to empower a new generation of golfers to express their unique style and personality, both on and off the course. To disrupt the norm and fuel a more modern, personalized and accessible game of golf. To pay homage to the Payne Stewarts and John Dalys of the world while honoring the traditions of the sport.
“Swing your swing. Not some idea of a swing. Not a swing you saw on TV. Not that swing you wish you had. No, swing your swing. Capable of greatness. Prized only by you. Perfect in its imperfection. Swing your swing. I know, I did.”
-Arnold Palmer (Pittsburgh Native)
Why the name and logo?
Trillium Trail is actually a nature trail in our hometown of Fox Chapel, nestled between two of Pittsburgh's most reputable clubs - Fox Chapel Golf Club and Pittsburgh Field Club. This park is home to some of our fondest memories as reckless kids and is true to our heritage. Memory Lane and Trillium Trail are synonymous to us. The mallard is a classic golf course inhabitant and a symbol for new beginnings. Not to mention our founder's miss is a duck hook. With orange feet, a yellow beak and green head, the mallard naturally embodies unique style and personality.
